Why is a flashlight important in a survival kit?
A flashlight or torch is an essential addition to your Survival Kit needs when the power goes out during a disaster. It allows you to navigate in the dark to find your way to safety. You can also use it to signal for help if you are lost of need assistance. When disaster strikes good lighting is very important and especially if essential services have gone down and there is no power. Rechargeable vs battery headlamp?
We have gone for an AAA powered headlamp in this case as it is easier to stock spare batteries than be reliant on the grid if that were to go down, and AAA batteries are found in many everyday items which could be salvaged and used to power the headlamp if needed.ย

The headlamp uses Germany imported p8 led, emits authentic 120 lumens, lights up in the darkness up to 53 metres; it is powered by 2 AAA batteries, its runtime is up to 105 hours on low mode and 2 hours on high mode.
The Wuben H3 Headlamp is IP65 rating water resistance, and compact enough to withstand the impact of 1.5 meter. Waterproof & drop-resistance make it more durable for harsh environments.
